How hard can coaching be?
It turns out… it's pretty tricky, even when you’re a former U.S. Youth National Team player!
After my playing career, I transitioned to being a youth coach—and wow, did I learn a lot.
I experienced how challenging (and rewarding) it can be to develop youth players. It's a skill to motivate different personalities. It's difficult to explain concepts to players who struggle to visualize plays. I also worked with parents. This one lesson stuck with me through it all:

Better coaches lead to better teams.
In 2017, I founded RC Celta Academy Philadelphia, a franchise of the Spanish pro soccer team RC Celta. I aimed to provide world-class coaching for youth teams.
But what about the coaches outside of Philadelphia?
This created the Virtual Fútbol Academy (VFA). It supports coaches globally. Today, the VFA provides self-guided mini-courses and live group mentoring programs to youth soccer coaches worldwide.
Using AI to globalize coach & player development.
As my team at the Virtual Fútbol Academy launched courses for coaches worldwide, we faced a challenge. How could we, a small team, reach the most people possible?
The solution - AI.
Using AI video technology, the VFA creates courses in different languages. The best part? Zero filming time or production.
AI is a time-, energy-, and cost-saving technology.
Today, pro clubs like Real Betis use our technology, now called The Creation Zone.
It streamlines their coaching development while cutting costs and saving time.
Every team deserves great coaches.
Youth players and kids everywhere deserve great coaches. Coaches should boost their confidence on and off the field.
As a founder, I want to ensure fair access to world-class coaching for every team.
This drive is why I created the Virtual Learning Foundation, a nonprofit. It uplifts underserved soccer communities.
Through the Foundation, I aim to create impactful initiatives. I want to bridge gaps in equity and access. I seek to do this with simple, effective coach development programs for coaches everywhere.
